Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, Ananya Panday’s ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ has been receiving some rave reviews ever since it released. This led to seeing some growth in the footfalls for the film over the first weekend after a decent opening number on first friday. The film has been doing well in multiplexes in cities like Mumbai, Delhi and also in areas of Punjab, UP. Actor Akshay Kumar’s ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ seems to have established a strong command at the box office. As it entered its second week on Monday, the film didn’t show major drop signs. It performed rather better than expectations, and collected Rs 3 crore nett on the 11th day.
The film, which is based on the aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, stands at Rs 68.40 crore nett after its 11-day run in India. Interestingly, the film’s second Monday collection is in the range of how it performed in its first week at the box office.
