Actress Madalsa Sharma, known for her role in Anupamaa, has expressed her admiration for her father-in-law, the legendary actor Mithun Chakraborty, following the announcement of his receipt of the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award. In a recent statement, Madalsa described Mithun as a “great achiever” and emphasized that “one can write an unending book on his life and work,” highlighting his remarkable contributions to Indian cinema.
Rupali Ganguly-starrer Anupamaa has been on air for over four years now but in the last few months, a few actors have quit the show. Madalsa Sharma, who was a part of the show from the beginning, and played Kavya, recently quit Anupamaa and in a recent interview, Madalsa opened up about her off-screen equation with Rupali. Madalsa shared that there were a few incidents where she learnt about Rupali speaking about her behind her back which caused her hurt. She also added that eventually, they made up.
