Actor Ankita Lokhande has announced the cancellation of her upcoming USA tour, expressing solidarity with the victims of the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. Taking to social media, Ankita shared a heartfelt note, stating her decision was made out of respect for the grieving families and the collective mourning of the nation.
During a visit to her childhood home in Indore with her mother Vandana Pandis Lokhande and husband Vicky Jain, actor Ankita Lokhande suggested couple’s counselling, but Vicky quickly dismissed the idea. During their visit, they met Ankita’s cousin, where Ankita said, “Baby, we have found a counsellor. Niti di will do our counselling. She will do our couple counselling.”
Rupali Ganguly, who is widely celebrated for her work in the daily soap Anupamaa, has been one of the highest-paid female actors on Indian television.
According to Siasat, she makes ₹3 lakh per episode. Despite the show often making headlines for some controversial reasons, it remains one of the most popular and talked-about shows on Indian television, currently streaming on StarPlus.
However, Ankita Lokhande may soon join this elite list if her rumored role in Naagin 7 materializes.
